Becoming a Co-Pharm member is easy! Click ‘Join Co-Pharm’ at the top of the page or ask a staff member at your local credit union or cooperative!

Yes.

The Nova Scotia Co-operative Council funded 1000 year-long Co-Pharm memberships for Nova Scotians to help ease the financial strain of prescription medications and other covered costs.

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, many Nova Scotians are facing financial uncertainty due to job losses or budget cuts and with the rampant layoffs also comes concern of losing health insurance coverage achieved through employers. Co-Pharm can help you pay less for roughly 131 prescription medications as well as certain types of specified mental health, and other, therapeutic practices. While the first 1000 free memberships have all been claimed, be sure to join the waitlist if you need assistance in becoming a Co-Pharm member.

If you have the resources to pay for your own Co-Pharm membership (less than $7/month), be sure to click the ‘Join Co-Pharm’ button at the top of the page!

The full retail value of a 12-month Co-Pharm membership is up to $79.00.
